IDEA League Summer School
The IDEA League is a strategic alliance of five leading European universities of science and technology: TU Delft, ETH Zurich, Chalmers University of Technology, RWTH Aachen, and Politecnico di Milano. Each summer, they organize a summer school at Delft for PhD and Master’s students. The program offers opportunities to gain new insights into current research, exchange ideas, and benefit from the collective expertise of the partner universities.
On August 20th, 2025, Sankalp Jena (DC9) contributed to this enriching experience by presenting the method he uses in his own research project to PhD students interested in understanding how it could be applied to their work. So, Sankalp demonstrated to students from diverse backgrounds how graph neural networks can use deep learning to predict fluid flow, successfully linking theory and practice.
His presentation not only sparked engaging discussions but also inspired students to explore new approaches in their own research.
